1. General Biology:

This course aims to introduce the student to the basic principles of biology, the components of the cell and the function of each of its organelles, the process of photosynthesis in plants and the process of cellular respiration, the process of cell division (mitosis), meiosis and the formation of sperm and ova in humans, Mendelian genetics and deviations from it, chromosomes, and mutations.

This course covers the practical component of most of the topics taught in the General Biology course, focusing on the study of the light microscope, the different structures of animal and plant cells, and the different types of animal tissues.

This course aims to introduce the student to:
